About Me

My photo
Lou Lovrin
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
In order of priority: I am a mother to Dayton, Ashley, Katie, Amber, Athena and John, a step mother to his sister Charlie-Anne, a daughter, a friend to many, and finally, an educator (pharmacy related). I read A LOT, especially books on ASD's. My son Dayton has been diagnosed with (in order of diagnoses... drum roll please, it's a long list: global delays, ADHD, OCD, ODD, PDD-NOS (pervasive developmental disorder - not otherwise specified). PDD-NOS is a form of high functioning autism and the least understood. Fortunately for us, we're troopers and Dayton is an amazing child, a survivor so to speak of our horrible school system.
